SCOW RELIANCE ASHORE.
IN A SAFE POSITION
Press Association. AUCKLAND, last night. The scow Reliance is ashore between Alanukau Heads and the Wajknto River. The crew’ all got ashore ] safely. The liglit-keeper at Alanukau Heads rejiorts that the Reliance is ashore about seven or eight miles south of the entrance. The scow sprang a leak in the vicinity oi the centre-hoard, and to save her the captain ran her up on the beach in a safe position. The Reliance left Onelnin "a on Wednesday last and anchored inside the Heads awaiting a favorable wind. She crossed the bar on Saturday hound lor Raglan with a load of timber.
