SongH wore rendered, by Bros. MueGibbon, Sohwabo, "Kershaw, ami Chisholm, Bro Sharland contributed a Uute solo and a recitation was given by Bro. Fitzsimmons During tho ovening Bro. Ambridge, secretary, on behalf ol tho I,edge, presented an afternoon tea sorvieo to Airs. Sohwabe, as, some recognition of her kindness in acting as accompanist at many of tho social ovenings under tho auspices ol the Lodge. Bro. Ambridge eulogised Mrs. Scliwabo’s services to the Lodge. Tho presentation ho said did not imply that tlio Lodge had a claim on her services, but ho hoped tlmt Mrs. Scliwobo would continue to lielp tho Lodgo in tills direction for many years to ,como. Bro. Schwabo suitably replied on behalf ot Airs. Schwabo. Cheers were given for Mrs. Sshwabe. At tlio conclusion ol the evening’s entertainment Bro. Ambridge, on behalf of tho Lodge, thanked the N.G. for the pleasant programme provided, and expressed tho hope that similar'entertainments would bo given in the future. Members extended thanks to Bro. AlcPhorson by acclamation, and the gathering dispersed with the singing ol “Auld Lang Syne.”
