The following will represent the West End Seniors in their match against Takitimu to-morrow:—Tate, Kell-' Henderson, AVeka Roderick, S Roderick, Brown Turei, Gy a ham, Mutu, Heke, Hakiivai, Ellison, J. Somervell, Stuart (captain), Pine, Turner.

The following will represent Takitinni in their matches to-morrow: Juniors: Callaghan (2), V. Smith, Halbert, Evans, Somevville, Roderick Campbell (2), Seymour, l’erry, McConnell, Thaxter, Hariroa, Swainson Thirds: Craill, Smith, Cameron, Campbell, Gordon, Bousfield, Ipu Kara, Malone, Morell, Marshall, Hughes, Brooking, Close,. Dunlop, and Stevens.

The Carriers and Butchers dined in .state at Mr. Dustin’s last evening, when a spread of a verv recherche order was partaken of. After the dinner a long programme of vocal and instrumental items wes gone through, the following gentlemen contributing:—Messrs. Gibson, Mercitt Wilkinson, Maynard, Grey, Kelly, Burnand, Corbett, and Sceats. Mr. Goldsmith presided at the piano and played the accompaniments in a masterly manner. Tho function terminated about 10 o’clock. REFEREES’ ASSOCIATION. At a meeting of tho Povert- Bay Referees’ Association held at the Royal Hotel last evening, the following referees were appointed for to-morroiv’s matches :—Senior match. West End v. Takitimu, Mr. J. O’Connell; junior match, Kaiti City v. Takitimu, Mr. AV. Hay; third grade match, Kaiti Cit- v. Takitimu, Air. C. Somerville. Some correspondence from the New Zealand Referees’ Association re the new rulings was read, and tho discussion which followed proved very instructive to the younger members of the Association. A letter was also received from tlio N.Z. Association in reply to questions asked by the local body.
