H.A.C.B.S. At tho ordinary mooting of the Hibornian Society, hold last ovoning, there was a good attendance; tho president (Bro. R. K. Graham) in the chair. the roport of tho secretary (Bro. M O’Halloran) and tho quarterly oalanco-sheot presented by tho treasurer (Bro. W. Hackott) woro disoussod. Satisfaction was expressed at tho sound financial position, tho sratoment being the best recorded sinco tho formation of tho Lodge. Two now mombors woro installed, bringing the total of new members for tho half-year up to 22. It was unanimously decided to I hold tho annual social in the TlioaI tro on August 1. Tlio following comI mitteo woro appointed to make tho 1 necossary arrangements: Bros. R. IK. Graham (president), H. J. Alloy I (vice-president), W. Hackott (treaI surer), M. O’JElalloraH (socroturj/j IV. Peterson (minute secretary), P. I Barry, and P. Gavin. mr. Garry I will carry out tho secretarial duties. I In addition tho ladies interested m I the society are forming a committee, I and tho function promises to bo most I successful in every respect. I It was arranged for all members of I the society to attend Holy CommuI nion on Sunday week, July 28th. I Notices are to be sent to country I mombors inviting them to be present. I Accounts amounting to £9 were I passed for payment.
