AN INTERESTING BOOK. (Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, last night. Copies of Mr. Dittmer’s elaborate work on the ancient legends and traditions of tho Maoris, published by Messrs. Geo. Rutledge and Sons, have just reached N.Z. The book is quite a unique publication, and tile weird and original drawings by the author iiave been splendidly reproduced. A fine edition of tho work has also been published in Germany.
