DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB. DUNEDIN, last night. The annual meeting of the Dunedin Jockey Club was held to-night, the Hon. G. McLean, M.L.C., presiding. Tho receipts totalled £11,479 and tho expenditure £10.898. Tho balance at the hank is £SBO. Tho sum of £BB2 had been spent on improvements and new buildings and £270 on painting. The Chairman said he regarded tho present situation as most satisfactory ■ml said it was proposed to raise tho stakes by £IOOO. Such a. step would !raw a larger number of horses. Mr. J. Hallett, vice-president, stat'd that the double lino would-soon each tho course and he of great benefit to the club and public. The-following were re-elected: Hon. G. McLean, president; Mr. J. Hal'ett, vice-president; Messrs. R. Cliarers, R. Ewing, P. Miller. S. Myers, A..S, Orbell and J. Thomson, comuittee.
