ALLEGED THEFT.
TRAMWAY FUNDS INVOLVED. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, last night. A young man named Robert Henry Woodkouse was committed for trial to-dav on a charge of stealing £122 6s 7d from the Christchurch Tramway Board. Woodliouse had been employed as clerk in the Board’s office, and the money which is alleged to have been stolen by him had been placed in one of the office drawers in readiness for paying the construction staff.
