There is excitement on the cotton market, New York, owing to the low estimate of the crop having been ipade by the Government statistic depart ment. Feverish buying has forced the price up 62d per lb. LONDON, July 3. Owing to a shortage in cotton many Lancashire mills are wording short time. ' -
