GOLD AND SILVER EXPORT
WELLINGTON, last night. The quantity of g ol d exported fr New Zealand during the past halt vear was 226,475 ounces, valued at £904 948, a decrease of 38,646 ounces of the value of £165,486, .compared with the corresponding period of lasfc year. The export of gold last month was 26,702 ounces, valued at £104,459 Ts against 48,640 ounces, valued at £195 556 in June last year. The auantity of silver sent out of the Coiony last month was 9123 ounces of the value of £9,342.
