The residont engineer of tho Public Works Department notifies that tenders will be received until July 13th for the erection of a courthouse at Tolaga Bay. Two young men ask for scrub-cut-ting by contract or wages. Mr. H. J. Peacockc and Co. want an office-boy. Mr. T. G. Lawless lias a new list of properties for sale in this issue. A practical gardener in an advertisement in this issue offers his services to do all branches of gardening. A youth asks for a position on a sheen station. Messrs. D. J. Barry and Co. have a notice elsewhere regarding accounts. A teacher for the violin is wanted.
An advertisement elsewhere gives the dates on which stock sales will be held at Matawhero. A five-roomed cottage near the Post Office is advertised for sale. Messrs. Williams and Kettle ask for tenders for the lease of land in the Waimata Survey District. A sheep farm at Tolaga Bay is advertised for sale.
It will be seen by an advertisement elsewhere that tho Ellerbeck studio are giving up business. Those who wish to patronise Mr. Ellerbeck before his departure can do so at considerably reduced prices as all lines will be lowered in consequence of his having to leave in five weeks time. Attention is. drawn by advertisement in this issue to the sale being held by the Melbourne Cash. Messrs. Blair and Sainsbury advertise that they have money to lend. An advertiser asks for milking on shares for himself and family. Messrs. Peckover and Co. ask for a variety of servants.
