LONDON, July 2. For the forthcoming London' colonial wool sales 209,000 bales have arrived to date, whereof 148,000 hjivo been, forwarded direct to the manufacturers, leaving 166,000 halos available for tho sale.

SYDNEY SHEEP SALES. SYDNEY, July 2. At the sheep sales Mr. John Nixon, of Killarnoy, Canterbury, sold six Border Leicester rams, which brought 10 guineas each, two eyes 10 guineas each, and one 12 guineas; 11 others ranged from 3to 8, guineas. Mr. William Nixon’s 10 English Leicester rams; sold at 5 guineas; D. Grant, Oakloigh, Canterbury, 24 rams averaged £3 15s 3d.

The actual yields per-acre for 1906-7 are:—Wheat 27. 18 bushels, oats 31.83, barley 31.08.' Following are tho details of the yields and quantities ill hand:—Wheat: The area for threshing was 206,185 acres, and the total yield is computed at .5,605,252 bushels. Tho quantity of wheat and flour returned on hand on October 31. 1906, is 3; 125,300 bushels. The quantity of wheat and flour imported from November 1, 1906, to February 28, 1907, is 37.012 bushels, total 8,767,564 bushels. From this has to be taken the wheat and flour ex ported from November, 1906, to February 28, 1907, 19,300 bushels, and consumption for the same period 1,880,000 bushels; leaving the amount available for all purposes on February 28, 1907, at 6,864.264 bushels. .Tho estimated consumption to February 28, 1907 5,760,000 bushels, total 6, 260,000 bushels, leaving an apparent surplus of 608,264 bushels.
