NIGHTCAPS MINE DISASTER.

Press Association. INVERGARGILL, last' night. The adjourned coroner’s inquiry in regard to the Nightcaps disaster 'was continued to-day, a strong ban representing the various parties. Medical evidence was taken to the effect that the men died from the action of white damp.

Other evidence so far relates with minute detail, the happenings in the mine, leading to the tragedies. Mr. Solomon, K.C., representing relatives of deceased, and Miners’ Union, cross-examined searchingly.
