ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
‘ Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, last night. The man Turner, who was taken to the hospital some weeks ago suffering from severe scalds, died to-night. Turner had found his way into the Tramway Board’s premises one night, and fell asleep near a steam pipe. When the steam was blown off he received the full discharge, and was badly injured in various parts of the body. DUNEDIN, last night. At an inquest held to-day on the body of Mrs. Creed, who died suddenly while hanging out clothes at Jvaikorai on Monday, a verdict was returned of death from heart I ilure. The body of a builder named Henry Garrett was found- at Pilichet Bay butts this morning. A new revolver was found beside the body, and a bullet wound in deceased’s side points to suicide. Deceased complained recently of pains in the head.
