GERMAN DILATORINESS. United Press Association—Copyright Received June 26, 9.33 p.m. LONDON, June 26. Replying to Lord Jersey, Mr. Fitzmaurice stated that, the Government repeatedly called Germany’s attention to the claims of Messrs. Burns, Pliilp and Co., oi Sydney, in connection with tho treatment; accorded their vessels at tlie Marshall Icland, but bad hitherto been unable to obtain a definite reply. Tlie German Government stated in January that- it had begun a detailed examination oi the claim which had lost considerable tim.e since their foreign office was twice reminded at Berlin. He therefore trusted that Germany would endeavor to come to a decision at an early date.
