FIRES
Press Association. MANGAWEKA, Yesterday. A fire occurred here about 2 o’clock yesterday mominig when the premises of Johnston, merchant; Bennett, saddler; and Zimmerman, blacksmith and wheelwright, were totally destroyed. Nothing from ally of the places was saved. The fire started in the rear of Bennett’s. Munro’s new buildings on the opposite side of the road were much damaged. The insurances known amount to £I6OO.
