Press Association. 'NAPIER, last night. At the annual meeting of the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Co-operative Association, Ltd., the balance-sheet showed that after allowing for depreciation, etc., the net profit, for the year had been £6984 on a paid-up - capital of £23,000. It was decided to : ’■pay a dividend of 8 per cent,.-and £IOOO to the reserve fund, which leaves a considerable balance to carry forward. The association opened* a branch at JDannevirke. during the year, and have made arrangements for further extending their business by opening a branch at Wairoa. -
