press Asftooiatipp. HOKITIKA, last nightThe nautical inquiry into the stranding of tho schooner Eunice on May 23rd was held to-day, before Mr R. J. Acheson, S.M., and two nautioal assessors. The verdict was that tlip Eunipp "rounded owing to ! her failing to answer her helm ap the critical moment, but tho Court' was unable to determine from the evidence why she so" failed. TJie Court was further of opinion tho order to go .a-port was given in dime Iff tho captain to avert the accident.
