Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, yesterday. For eight sections of land from to 1041 acres in extent in various parts of the district, balloted for todav by the Land Board, there were 186 applicants. James, Mangatamokar section 28, 70 acres P. G. Stevens, Tanaki; section 29, 16 acres, T. A. Harwood, Clareville; section 30, lU acres, J. D. Gallaway, Mahaiahaia; Section 31, 75 acres, E. A. Porson, Asliley-Clinton; section 32, 70 acres, L. Cubit, Makotuku; section 33, 1 5 acres, A. H. Hanson, Palmerston North; soctio n 34, 75 acres, J. Gooch, Dannovirke; section o, 100 acres, Minnie May, Mataliimi; section 7, 100 acres, Thomas Edlin, Foxton; section 8, 100 acres, Lewis J. Edwards, Maliaraliara ;• section 9, Bo acres, Adolpli Berg, Shannon; section 10 86 acres, Oscar Nielson, Pnkehon; section 11, 86 acres, John Hansom, 1 Wellington. The last section was drawn by Arthur Pritchard, Palmerston, but lie was absent, and another draw was made, There were 2196 applicants.
