ENORMOUS LAND-SLIDES. Press Association, AUCKLAND, last uigh't. News by the Navua to-day states that great rains had occurred at the Island of Tutuila, Samoa, doing very much damage at Pago Pago and elseL where. Some great landslijis took place in and around the harbor. One was 20 acres in extent. Another damaged the United States'- Naval Station, and the Sergeant of Marine was smothered before he could be rescued.
