Mr Simms, Government delivered an elementary address upon fruit-growing, pruning, .Planting, etc., demonstrating by practicalJjork upon trees on a plot of ground The are 17 competitors ill the milk-testing competition (Babcock method).- which was supervised and judged by officers of the Dairy Department, 1 rofessor Lowrie was present- at the show with 18 students from Linoolu College, who attended lectures, and this afternoon play a football match in the Show Ground with a local team.
