SERIOUS RAILWAY ACCIDENT.

As tho North-AVestorn mail train was leaving AVorris Crook tho engine and two second-class carriages ran on a siding, owing to tho shunter's oversight in not locking tho points. Tho remainder of tliq train, consisting of a first-class carriage and a sloopingcar, continued on tho lino, and were derailed. Fifty passengers wore in tho dorailed cars. ’ One, Coclirano, had his shouldor dislocated, and a dozen otliors sustained bruises and shock. Tho engine was smashed, and there was considerable damago to rolling-stock.
