Tho King refuses to dismiss Cabinet and governs by decree. • Tho King remains in his Palace. The Queen is subjected to insults when she appears publicly. Widespread protests are voiced against tho King’s action. Many municipalities and newspapers urge tlio people to refuse to pay taxes. A deputation is visiting Prince Miguel Bragnnza, the Pretender, at Vienna, who has already declared that he is willing to consider an offer of the throne if the revolutionary inox einont is successful
