ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.
Press Association. ' AUCKLAND, last night. In the police court this morning a young woman named Florence Murphy, was charged with attempting suicide on May 27th, by jumping into the harbor. Asked by ■ the Bench for the reason of her act the gir’ gave the laconic explanation, “Drunk.” The case was adjourned until to-morrow in order that defendant might be dealth with by a | Stipendiary Magistrate. I
