The winter show opened to-day. It is one of the best ever held. The general entries are larger than hitherto, and the display all round is very varied. In the factory class, for the best three boxes suitable for export, Canterbury Dairy Co. (Belfast) was first with 93 points, South Canterbury (Timaru) 92 and 91}. For tlio best two boxes suitable for export, Norsewood Factory was first with 92, Pihama (Taranaki) 90, Thames Valley- 89). In cheese, best Scwt full cream, colored, suitable for export, Mataura was first with 95}, Elcudalc 95, Waikouaiti 91}. Best Scat full cream (white): Edeudalo 91, Waikouaiti 93, Mataura 92}. Factory made cheeses, suitable for export, white or colored: Mataura 91, Edendalc 93. Special exhibit, white or colored: Waikouaiti 95, Edendalc 91}. Loaf cheese: Edcndalo 91, Mataura 93},
