CRICKET ASSOCIATION

A meeting of tlio Cricket Association was held at the British Empire Hotel last evening, there being present Messrs R. G. Hallamore (chairman), W. Gibson, G. K. Pasley, D. Barry, R. W. Cary, S. McColl, J. W. Wack, H. E. Maude, and H. E. Hill (lion, secretary). Letters were received from the Wanderers and To Rail Cricket Clubs, proposing that players be charged tho sum of Is as a ground fee. It was proposed by Mr Hallamore, seconded by Mr. Cary, and carried, that the matter be referred to a sub-committee appointed to go into the matter.

A committee was appointed to go into the matter of getting up a concert to provido funds for the Association. Messrs Cary, Maude,and Hill being appointed. A statement of accounts was presented by the secretary, showing the Association to be in a very satisfactory condition. After some discussion re rules and by-laws the meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to the Chairman.
