Last Saturday the second mixed foursomes of the season were played off, a large number of members taking part. It is gratifying to the committee to see such largo and keen “turnouts” on these occasions, which show that tlioir efforts to foster the
“guid old game of gouff” aro not in vain and that new members are not disheartened by handing in somewhat largo scores. Next Saturday a tournament will bo started and members desiring to play should hand in tlieir names in good time to facilitate the arrangements.
