During tho past week a number of games havo boon played on tlie above club’s green, with much enjoyment. The competition in the President’s Fours and Champion Cup wore advanced a stage, several games ensuing, with the following rosults: PRESIDENT’S FOURS. . Earle, Lucus, Morrison, Nasmith, jur. (skip) 24 v. Barry, H. Martin, Hepburn, Nasmith, senr. (skip) 16. This was the semi-final in the competition. The team skipped by Nasmith jnr led from the start, but on the sth head the soores were 4 all. From this point tho younger skip’s team drew away, and won finally by 8 points. Tho final now remains to be played between tho teams skipped respectively by Nasmith jnr and Martin.
