T. P. O’CONNOII’S VIEWS.
STRUGGLE MUST BE RENEAVED. Received May 23, 9.42 pan. LONDON, May 23. Mr. T. P. O’Connor, addressing the members of the Irish League of Great Britain at the Mansion House, Dublin, said the decision of the Convention imposed on the Britisli organisation new and enlarged duties, which might impose some change of policy owing to the badness of the Bill. Unwise counsel liad been given to the Government by officials in; Ireland. There were divisions of opinion among the members of the Government, and their ignorance was apparently profound and invincible as to the real sentiinept of Iceland. The struggle must be recommenced, and be stronger, sterner, and more energetic than ever. The action of the Convention need not retard for a single hour the erection of a great Assembly to make laws for Ireland on Irish soil.
