At tlio Gisborne Bowling Club’s green a big day is being, looked forward to to-morrow. In the afternoon the District Shield matches will be. continued, when AVhatnupoko will moot Kaiti. Great interest is being centred in this game ns Kaiti have already won two games, and should they beat AVhataupoko they will bo declared the winners for the season. West End try conclusions with City. In the morning the committee aro anxious that the following games will bo played:—Handicap Singles—Martin, E. v. Robortson, Anderson v. McGowan, Craig v. Corson, Pettie, F. v. Morgan, Euro v. Martin or Robertson ; Champion Singles—Crawford v. Honnessy, Bright v. Ponsford, Nicholas v. Crawford or Honnessy. At the Turanganui Bowling Club’s green this afternoon, tho semi-final in tho President’s Fours wiljl bo played, when the rinks skipped by Nasmith (sour.) and Nasmith (juur) will meet.
