HIS MAJESTY’S TO-NiGHT. This evening, at His Majesty’s, theatro-goers will have an opportunity of witnessing the play which lias if or months past been the tali; of Australia —“The Fatal Wedding?” Xts enormous popularity and successful triumphs have already been dilated upon at length, and the excitement evinced in the opening of Messrs. Meynell and Gunn's popular coni pa ny is unusual to Gisborne. The full company, headed by Mr. Marcourt Beatty, tho distinguished actor, arrive to-day, .and everything is now complete for the opening. The Till Can Band and the children’s scenes have already aroused much enthusiastic comment. Special music has been composed for the play, and bright songs and dances have been arranged. The full orchestra will be under the direction of Mr: Wynne Jones. Mr. C. It. Stanford will supervise the staging. The striking scenery is from the brush of Mr. John Little, Whilst the costumes and 'accessories are by leading artists in the various departments, as set forth in the advertisement. The season is limited to five nightfe only, and the plans are liOw rapidly filling at Miller’s.

It is picturesque to a degree in scene and dress, the magnificent accoutrements and flashing uniforms having been specially imported from England. . - ' -
