THE LATE MR. J. A. HARDING.
To the Editor of the Gisborne Times. Sir, —In your issue of to-day you state that Mr. Harding was appointed to the position lie held in connection with the East Coast Native 'Trust Lands at a salary of £IOOO a yfea|. There is a mistake as to the amount of the salary. It was a year. I shall be obliged by your making the necessary correction in your next issue.—Yours faithfully, T. A. COLEMAN, Secretary East Coast Native Trust Lands Board. [Our information was that there had been three trustees, each drawing a salary of £4OO a year, and that the late Mr. Harding had been appointed solo trustee at a salary of £IOOO a year, thus saving £2OO a year to the Trust. —Ed G.T.]
