Stafford, t builder, offering to build promises in brick for the Borough and County 1 Councils on section 93, Gladstone. . Cr. Bright asked if the Council had , agreed to join with, the County Coun- I . cil in the matter. His Worship thought it would he ■ best. , , , Cr. Wliinray said they had been a ’ lodger too long. Ho thought the time was opportune for the erection of a Town Hall. . I Cr. Sheridan agreed that the time ; had arrived when they should have municipal buildings. I ; Cr. Bright thought they should ' build on their property in Read s Quay, and ask the County Council to ’ be their tenants. ’ Mis Worship moved that the time ; had arrived when the Council should ’ have fresh offices. ' Cr. Sheridan seconded the resolu-1 tion which was carried. I 1 Cr. Miller moved that a committee he set up to confer with the Building S Inspector and the County Clerk on I , the matter.
