The District Coroner ■conducted ar inquiry at the Hispital this aftornooi into the circumstances surrounding the dcatli of Peter Flannery, a far mcr, residing at Deep Stream, wliei injuries were sustained on Friday, 20th April, by a fall from his buggy on the road between Clark’s Junction and Deep Stream Bridge. Flar.ery was brought into Dunedin Hospital on Tuesday last, where he succumbed on Friday night. He was thirty-eight years of ago. The jury’s verdict was that the. deceased' met ids death by being accidentally thrown from a buggy.
