WAIMATA.
(From our own Correspondent.) Saturday last witnessed the openins mooting of the Waimata Kiflo Club. Owing to the kindness of Mr. 1-1. McPhail, an excellent range was secured in a central position. There was a full attendance of members, and the shooting, taking into consideration the high wind prevailing, and the fact that the majority of the members were tyros, was excellent. Tim Club bids fair to become a very strong one, »>.-i the pastime popular. The Club is fortunate m such an enthusiastic and experienced head as Capt. Twislototl, whose efforts on its behalf have been unsparing. Tea was kindly provided by Mrs. Tivislcton, and amongs those present were Mr. and Mrs. Branson, Mr. and Mrs. A S. Monek, Miss Metcalfe, Miss Norris, Messrs. A. It. Watson, E. B. Martin, M. H. Straclian, H. Cartwright, O, Tyre/, E, Berry, and A. Perry.
