THE FUNERAL. Pres 3 Association. WELLINGTON. Last Night. The funeral of tlio late William Gray took place to-day. There was a very large attendance, among those present' being the Acting-Premier (lion. 1 lall-Jonos), the Acting-Post-mastor-Genoral (Hon. Dr. Findlay), the Minister for Education (lion. G. Fowlds), Colonel Collins. Mr. J. A. Hutton (Chief Postmaster at Wellington). Mr. S. D. Stevens (Chief Postmaster at Nelson), Mr. D. Miller (Chief Postmaster at AVanganui), Mr. St. George (Chief Postmaster at Christchurch), Captain Edwin (Director of the Meteorological Department), Mr. D. Robortson (assistant secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department), Air. F. V. AVnters (Chief Clerk), Mr. Duncan Gumming (Inspector of Post Offices). Air. 11. AA’. Harrington (officer in charge of telegraphs), Hon. T. AV. Hislop (Mayor of AA’ollington), Mr. H. Otterson (clerk of the House of Representatives). Air. F. AA . Haybittle!
