, v FLORAL FETE. The committee organising tho Floral Fete met last evening in the school. There was a good attendance, and members seemed to be confident of success if file day is fine. Mr. Rowley reported the arrangements made with the Railway Department for a special time-table for Saturday next. Air. Rowley reported, in the absence of Mr. "Wade, what had boon done re refreshments, and laid an offer before the committee. It was decided to accept Air. Dustin’s tender. The following sido-sliows are being arranged for: Merry-go-round, lent by Air. Somervell, shooting gallery, button-holt and flower stall, kaleidoscope, hidden treasure, telegraph bureau, fortune-telling, and guessing competition. Arrangements having been made for meetings of the various sub-committees, the meeting closed.
At the Westport races yesterday the hajidsome dividend of £73 11s was paid out on the Grauity Handicap. There were only two tickets on the winner.
