MARRIAGE.
At St. Andrew’s Church yesterday afternoon Miss Mary (Molly) Erskiiie, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Jas. Erskinc, of Whataupoko, was married by the Rev. W. Grant to Mr. A. R. Valder, manager of the Okitu dairy factory. The church was crowded with friends of the contracting parties, both of whom are very popular in the district. The bride was dressed in a beautiful ivory duehesse satin dress with a court train, with the usual veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Misses Rose, Agnes, and Violet Erskino, B. Gilding and Mary Reddoll, wild wore dresses of the palest shades of nil, lielio, pink, sky and champagne mousseline de soie, and hats with ostrich tips to match. Mr. A. (}. Gunn acted as best man, and Messrs R. Hyains and T. Erskinc as groomsmen. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a handsome ornament set with pearls and turquoises, and to the bridesmaids turquoise brooches. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a beautiful silver inkstand. The presents to the happy cou])le were costly and numerous, including many cheques, and a handsome dinner set from the suppliers to the Matawhero creamery. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents.
