CRICKET.
The following players have been selected to practise in view of the forthcoming matches against Auckland and Hawke’s Bay at Easter: McDonald, OTlara, McConnell, Torkington, Wilson, H. Sharp, Carey, Gorman, J. Wuck, Ilbort, Cox, Lasker, J. Lang, Islierwood, Hallamorc, W. Gibson, Cato, Gardiner, Dr. Collins, Babb, Whyte, Ludbrook, Beale, Nurse, Williamson, Boyes, Barton, S. Palmer, Campbell, Derecourt, McMahon, Hodgo, Oates. Practise will lie commenced at Victoria Domain to-morrow afternoon at 4 o’clock, and continued every evening. Any of tho above-mentioned players who will be unable to take part in the matches if selected are requested to intimate same to tho secretary (Mr. H. E. Hill) at the earliest possible moment.
