PARISH OF HOLY TRINITY.
CHURCH SERVICES AT IvAITI. A movement was made yesterday to establish church services and Sunda,; school at Haiti, in the new school. The Sunday-school was opened at about a quarter to 3, tho Rev. H. N. AVriglit being in charge. There was a very full muster of children, and the classes were arranged. Tbc school will bo held every Sunday at a quarter to 3. In the evening, at 7, the vicar conducted service, and in spite of tlie unpleasant evening the building was filled to overflowing. Tlie service was of a hearty nature. The vicar spoke on the words “A Great Door is opened.” 11l the course of his remarks he expressly stated that the services were intended for those who could not got into town for any church services. A strong committee was formed, to meet monthly. Mr DeLautour, a member c r tlio Church of England vestry, and resident of Haiti, made a few congratulatory remarks oil tlie auspicious opening of the services, adding that lie believed there was no fear of tlio door ever being shut.
