BOWLING.

TURANGANUI CLUB. There was a good attendance of bowlers at the above club’s green on Saturday afternoon, some enjoyable games being played. During the week the first round in the Handicap Pairs was continued, the result being— Morrison and Martin (skip) 22 v. Joyce and Colley (skip) lb. This game was . one-sided throughout, though Colley played a splendid saving game. The score on tiie last head showed: Morrison and Martin 22, Joyce and. Colley 9. Tlio latter pair receiving a handicap of G points, the game ended as above. One more game remains to be played in the first round, Hird and Bennett v. MeSkimming and Sheet. For the draw in the second round the winners of this round are to play Lucas and Hepburn, while Morrison and Martin are pitted, against Edwards and Sawyer. Mackrell and Mattliewson have the bye.
