A DAY’S SHOOTING. Tho members of the Gisborne llifles, under Captain Beerc, had a good day’s shooting ycsterdov, commeocmg at 9 o.m. and concluding at Si p-m. Keen interest was taken by the eoro"potitors, and some excellent shooting Was done. By mutual arrangement, the competitors divided themselves into classes, and two sets of distances were fired at. The scores were as follows;

An ordinary parade of the corps will be held on Friday night. After the parade there will be some important business transacted, which makes it the more desirable that there should be a full jnuster. J
