The proposed boundaries of the new electoral disiriota in the North and South Islands are set forth in a Gazette ismtd this evening. NORTH ISLAND. In the North Island Newtown disappears as an eleotorate, and its place is taken by Wellington South. Hawaro has boon rooonstruoied, and becomes Stratford. There are three new electorates, Taomaranui, Tauranga, and Wellington Suburbs. SOUTH ISLAND. In the South Island Waikouaiti, Courtenay, and Tuapoka disappear, and Gaversbam becomes Danedin South. EFFECT OF CHANGE.

Ia the last Parliament the representation of eaoh Island was equal. Tho re-ad-jtrslmenl of boundaries now gazetted provides for the North Island having six more seats than the South.
