Prices havo advanced sinoe the cabled report of last week. Tbe market is greatly aflrctod by reports of expected Australian arrivals and Christmas demand. Choioo New Zealand is at 113-', Danish at 121 s, Siberian 102*, Australian 110.*,Argentine Ills per cw‘. Saltless makes are worth 2* per cwt less. The cheoso market is BUady. There is general and active d, mnnd for New Zinland makes, which arc quoted at 60s, Canadian cheese at 625. Tho hemp market is firm and moderate business is done, Good, fair grade on spot and also October-Decembcr shipments are quoted at T 39. Fair current Manila on spot is worth £2 It's per ton. There is a better demand for cocksfoot seed and the market is firm. There are only light stocks on hand. Bright, clean New Zealand seed. 17lb to the bushel, is quoted at 47s per cwt. Thero is a better demand for wheat. New Zealand long berried, per 5041b5, ex granary, is quoted at 295, and short-berried 28s 6d, The oat market is firm, but prices havo not advanced, New Zealand sparrowbill, per 8341b5, is at 255, and Danish, per 3201b5, at 19s, ex granary.
