[A cablegram to hand yesterday from Paris stated: “ The Peninsular express was travelling from Chateaumeant towards Airgoun. An iron bar protruding from a passing goods train struck the ex press, Robert Hannah, engineer of the Indian railway administration, was terribly injured, his wife was partially scalped, and other passengers received lesser injuries.”]
