RAID ON HOTEL.

THREE YOUNG MEN CHARGED. PRESS ASSOCIATION Auckland, last night. The police arrested three young men upon a charge of perpetrating the Wynhard hotel robbery on Saturday morning' The accused men, whose names are Adam Swallow, James Collins, and Archibald Manson, were brought before Mr Dyer, S.M., this morning in tho Police Court, charged with committing burglary at the hotel, stealing £2 in money, eight bottles of whisky, two bottles of brandy, four bottles of schnapps, two bottles of gin, and 26 packets of cigarettes, valued altogether at £l2. Chief Detective Marsack asked for a remand, as the whole of the stolen property had not been recovered. He stated that the three men had admitted their guilt, but some small matters had to be cleared up. A remand until Friday was granted.
