This season’s Australian is seiimg at s}l per lb. The beef market is dull. Sappiies of R’ver Plate ate heavy. New Zealand hoof is quoted at 3J 1, and per lb for hind and forequarters respectively. The batter rnatket is overstocked and depressed. Bayers are holding back, expeofmg prices to go lower. The weather is very unfavorable for tho sale of baiter and heavy arrivals are anticipated. Danish butter is quoted at 116 j, oaoioe New Zealand 110 j, Argentine 108>, Australian 107 s, and Siberian at 98j per owt. Tho ohaese marks, is steady, hot there is only a small demand. Canadian makes are quoted at 62s per ewi. The hemp market is firm. Tna uxcitement lately prevailing on ths maikot is subsiding. Tnore is a gooddetnmd for ali descriptions.
