STOCK DEPARTMENT.

DISTRICT MADE COMPACT. PRESS ASSOCIATION Wellington, last night. Tho following changes in the Blaff of the Stock Department have been deoided upon:—Mr J. Dancao, inspector of atook at Palmerston North, will suooeed Mr Clifton, inspector in charge at Auckland. Mr Duncan will be succeeded at Palmerston North by Mr D. Fleming, of Gisborne. Mr J. H. Jenkinson, MastertoD, will aot as inspector at Nelson ana Hastings. Mr Hubbaid, of Nelson, will be located at Carterton, and Mr Huddle son transferred to Thames to succeed Mr Graham, who is to take over Hastings district, vice Mr Wayne, Hawke’s Bay district will be divided into two portions, Mr W. Miller, the present inspector in charge at Napier, taking over the northern part above Wairoa district, with headquarters at Gisborue, and Mr Ross, of Hamilton, the southern part, with headquarters at Napier; Mr Kerr, of Kihikihi, will suooeed Mr Ro6S at Hamilton, while rabbit agent R. Alexander, of Cambridge, bas been raised to the laak of inspeotor of stock, to fill tho vacanoy oausod by the resignation of Mr Fraser, Hr Alexander will bo looaied at To Kaiti and have ohargo of tho district formerly under Mr Kerr.
