The Hon, R, MoNab, Minister for Lands, addressed a crowded meeting here to-night on the lines of last night’s speech at Onehungo, explaining the provisions of the Land Bill. Tho Minister received a yery good hearing, and at tho closo of bis address the following resolution was carried almost unanimously : 11 That the Hon. Mr MoNab bo tendered a hearty vote oi thanks for tho interesting and ablo address on the Government land policy, and that this meoting approves of his resolve to prosecute a vigorous campaign of explanation throughout tho colony.” Tho Minister was entertained by tho oitizjna after the meeting. Mr MoNab receives several deputations on local matters to morrow, including ano urging the establishment of a dairy ecoool 1 1 tho Ruakura Slate farm. Ho speaks at CJeyedqn to-morrow night,
