Tho Pooplo’s Day at tho Nelson Agricultural and Pastoral Association show was favored with perfect weather, and there was a vory largo attendance. The judges spoko highly of hunters’ hacks and harness horses. Everything passed without a hitch. Tho wedding took place at Bishopdalo Chapel to-day of Mr Robert Stuart Low, of Monifoith, Scotland, and Miss Marion 8011, sister of Dr Bell, Director of Geological Surveys. Wellington, last night.
Mrs Richmond, widow of Mr Justice Richmond, and sister of tho late Sir Harry Atkinson, died in Wellington to-day. Mrs Richmond landed in New Zealand in 1853. An examination made to-day of the steamer Broiz Duel, which was aground yesterday at Shelly Bay, revealed that her plates were very littlo damaged. Tho vessel was not leaking. Sho sailed tonight for Sydney.
