COUBT CASES.
PRESS ASSOCIATION Wellington, last night. The Supremo Court was occupied to-day with a ohargo of sbeep*stealing brought against a Martinborough farmer, James O'Keefe, by a neighbor. A middle Bged woman named Mary Ann Guy, a resident of Island Bay, was charged with manslaughter through negleot of an infant child, Nellie Smith, entrusted to her care. She was found guilty of wilful neglect, with a recommendation to mercy, and was remanded for sentence. Feilding, last night. At the Police Court this morning August Edward Basse, of Taonui, was charged with inosst with hie daughter, and was remanded for a week, bail being refused.
